Simple Yummy Chola/Puri Recipe for Sunday Morning

Yesterday I had a blast with yummy Chola /Puri along with Green Chutney, which I would like to share with you,try it and get  rewarding points from from friends and Family.

It's not a recipe with big preperations, all you need are spices/vegs that are readily available in your kitchen.

So let's start with the Ingreients, all you require is......

  • 2 bowls of Chole (Chick Peas),small in size, soaked overnight.
  • 2 big onions chopped.
  • 4-5 tomatoes chopped
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Turmeric  1 tea spoon
  • Salt as per taste
  • Dal chini 1-2
  • Tej patta (Bay Leaf) 1
  • Cumin Seeds
  • 4 Cloves
  • 5 black Pepper
  • Doda (big ilaichi)
  • Dhaniya Powder
  • 4Green Chillies.(Slit)
  • Red Chiily Powder
  • Chana Masala
  • Green Corriender
Method

  • Boil the Chole with haldi and salt.
  • In a Pan (Iron Wok),put some mustard oil,bring it to smoking point
  • Add cumin seeds,tejpatta,4 Cloves,5 black Pepper, dal chini, doda,let them crackle.
  • Add Ginger Garlic Paste,till it is golden.
  • Now add chopped onions and stir till they are golden.
  • Add tomatoes,Slit 4Green Chillies.
  • When it starts leaving the oil aside ,add dry spices mentioned above.
  • After 1 minute add boiled chole.Put on simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Sprinkle green fresh Corriender.
Chutney Recipe.

Simple Chutney to add taste to chola poori, just blend 5-6 chillies with boiled and cooled mustard oil and salt.If possible use Sil Patta or Kharal (stone crusher).


Serve Hot with Poori/Paranthas.
